Research Power Point

For my research I looked at 3 main films in the horror genre:

nightmare on elm street, halloween and saw.

I thought these 3 films would be good to research as they target the same audience that i was targeting, so i could pick out good techniques to include in my opening which the auidence will enjoy.

As media Project

For my AS media project I am going to make the titles and opening of a new fiction film. To last a maximum of two minutes.
We were not given a specific genre, so we get to choose this ourselves. I have decided to make my film in the genre of horror. As i am doing the opening scene i have decided to look at a few horror films that have good effective opennings which help you to identify the genre straight away, these are such films as -

• Halloween
• Saw
• Nightmare on elm street
• The blair witch project
